Wunderman Adds Two to Meet Increased Microsoft Canada
TORONTO, June 29, 2009–Wunderman is making two senior additions to its client service team to support additional assignments from long-time client Microsoft Canada.
Meredith Grove rejoined Wunderman as Vice President, Group Account Director for Microsoft on June 1. In her role, Grove will be involved with guiding the strategic vision for Microsoft and its growth in the digital channel.
Grove comes to Wunderman after eight years at MacLaren MRM Toronto, where she grew that agency’s Microsoft team from 10 to 40 employees. During that time her team won numerous awards, and was recognized by Microsoft for outstanding work.
Prior joining to MRM, Grove spent 4 years at Wunderman in account management.
Also joining Wunderman from MRM is Derek Yarnell, who assumes the role of Group Account Director in July. Yarnell will lead the strategic and digital growth of multiple lines of business for Microsoft.
While at MRM Yarnell spent four years working on the Microsoft business, where his focus on strategic innovation helped the client establish their digital marketing programs.
“Wunderman has a long standing relationship with Microsoft and this partnership has grown tremendously over the past few years. With the focus on digital marketing and innovation, the time was right for the additions of Grove and Yarnell, who have clearly established themselves as key partners of Microsoft” said Wunderman SVP, Michael Aniballi.
Wunderman is the original architect of response-driven marketing, an estimated trillion dollar global industry. Today, with 50+ years of innovation, creativity, and insight, Wunderman stands as the first name in advertising that delivers measurable results, creating profitable conversations that build brands and generate sales.
