MRM New York Wins Intel Developers Forum Assignment
NEW YORK—(February 6, 2009)—Intel Corp., the world’s premier maker of computer processors, has expanded its relationship with MRM Worldwide after a competitive review by awarding the agency the marketing and Web development assignment for the upcoming Intel Developers Forum conferences.
IDF is Intel’s premier technology event of the year, taking place in the United States, Taiwan, and China in the form of a three-day conference of seminars, product demonstrations, training sessions, workshops, technology showcases and hands-on learning labs for business and IT professionals.
“We want to get these groups talking to Intel and talking to each other,” said Mark Erwin, global IDF manager. “We’re trying to break down the barriers and encourage direct interaction while making sure all of the rich information is as accessible to the audience as possible — whenever and wherever they need it.”
Using its leading Customer Utility™ practices in design, SEO, data management and analytics, MRM is creating new levels of utility that will increase the interactivity between Intel and its audiences as well as peer-to-peer engagement.
“Attendees will be able to easily access event information on their mobile devices and engage their peers online,” explained Corey Mitchell, Managing Director of MRM Worldwide in New York. “Social media and rich content will be used as never before for the IDF, making a lot of the information easily distributed to other IT audiences that are unable to attend the event live.”
The New York office of MRM Worldwide will bring IDF to life for its more than 5,000 attendees, (which includes journalists, analysts and IT professionals from all over the globe), by designing and building a Web site that provides the highest level of Customer Utility.™
